The Clash 2019: Sassa Dagdag fights her way to the top with “My All” | Top 64 (w/ English subtitles)
It’s me, Sassa Dagdag. My first album is entitled ‘Sassy Sassa,’ and for now, my newest songs were released called “Picking Petals” and “Pasensya Ka Na.” I feel like I don’t have any advantage because I personally think that I’m not that good. There are people who are so much better than me in the competition so it’s just fair. This will be another step to achieve my dreams – to be more known and to share my talent. I just want to give my family a good life. That feeling where you get to wake up in the morning without feeling any pressure and not thinking too many uncertainties about the future. But I know in myself that I’m doing my best for my family. Oh, this is it. That’s her real voice. Something is lacking Hi, Sassa! When we say Mariah Carey, there are a lot of vocal techniques: those riffs, runs, and all that. Actually, you did all of it. But here it is, whenever there are a lot of things like that, too much calisthenics in between the notes, sometimes we pronounce the words unclearly. But it was a really good performance. Congratulations! Thank you! In spite and despite of you getting sick today, what was great about it is that you gave your best despite of your illness. Thank you. You hit some of the notes but since you have a cold, some of the high notes that I was expecting became a little bit too raspy. Yes. But nevertheless, you still gave your all so congratulations for that! My reminder to the ‘clashers’ is the contest starts before you go on the stage always and then your performance so please take care of your health. It will make it hard when you compete here. But Sassa, you have a great potential. Thank you. Your tone seems to be a great mix of Mariah and Beyoncé. Thank you. So we will see what happens next. Thank you. Thank you for your performance. Thank you.
