Also micro-gravity in the vomit comet aeroplane is not micro. At a few thousand feet up, the gravity is almost the same as the value on the ground. Even in space it is never zero anyway – it just seems like zero because you are falling around the earth or another celestial body. Weightlessness should always be called apparent weightlessness. Reply Simon Leach · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm Since buttered toast drops most often falls butter side down, what happens if you butter the back of the cat? Reply Meroh · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm 4:38 it is her leg… Reply Ruskea Reikä · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm No cats were harmed during making this video. Reply sum1whoiskewl · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm If you ever talk to a skier or snow boarder who does park. its easier to put a cork in a spin because if you are slow or to fast on rotation, you have 2 spin axis to correct yourself. How much should you drop per day? Reply kunal sutar · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm why are there so many dislikes on this video ?? … i bet you the people didn't understand what this guy was trying to tell 'em … no way i am trying to say that destin didn't explain it properly , the explanation is great … it is just that he used some physics terms which overheated their brains Reply Guitargreat · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm 9.3 million views that’s like 17 grand holy moly Reply Cool Cat · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm Ive been waiting for this……. My whole life!! Reply TwilightMysts · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm I actually question his conclusion in this video. I wonder if the arching back has something to do with it. If you think about it, two cylinders placed end-to-end connected by a central axis, can not rotate in the same direction in free-fall except by initiating a counter-rotation in the axle (this equates to what he was saying about the tail rotating part way through the video). However, if you were to create a joint in the connecting axis so that you can bend the 2 cylinders to be parallel, and then rotate them, while they are spinning the same direction relative to the central axis, they are actually rotating in opposite directions relative to each other, and thus conserving angular momentum relative to the reference frame. Just a thought… Reply pipermayy · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm I feel bad for the cats in the plane they didn't know what was happening:(😂 Reply # Gamerboy · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm What are you guys doing to cats Reply Piranha man · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm Its hard to do this without upsetting people, then picks it up and holds it by the legs Reply denise majere · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm Oh that Cat-a-pult at the end! 🤦🏽♀️😅 Reply lei23to · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm "This is my daughters cat i dont wanna hurt it" throws it on the ground (edit i didnt realise this was already a comment sorry) Reply Charles Moore · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm If a cat always lands feet down, and bread lands buttered side down, what happens when you strap buttered bread to the back of a cat?!😉 Reply yass123 · May 26, 2019 at 8:06 pm Why is this recommended for me 6 years later?
